Planning for Seven Generations 2008
Planning for Seven Generations Conference was named in honor of the American Indian traditions--that decisions are made with an eye towards their impact on the next seven generations.
This conference approached climate change from two perspectives; one rooted in indigenous experiences and one born of present-day science.
The overarching goal was to look for opportunities for the two perspectives to point to shared strategies for understanding, adapting to, and mitigating climate change, with a particular focus on American Indian Lands.
Thank you for helping to make this event a success!
